Spring hopeful

Had to scrape the car again this morning! Another beautiful autumnal day but my thoughts are turned to a small parcel which recently arrived. These are hybrid daffodils and are carefully chosen. One because it has my sister's name(although not named for her) and the other bears a wee link to another family member. One of them has been bred by a family friend and indeed his wife was my kindergarten teacher many , many years ago.
It's lovely when you have tenuous links to lovely people and things and can share in their success.
Need to plant my bulbs and send my sister hers... But does she get them all?
