Easter Sunday

Yes, I did sleep well, and woke up from a dream about chocolate to find that it was getting light and I wasn't buried in snow.

I packed up my sleeping stuff and walked around a bit to stay warm and appreciate the scenery. Skylarks were singing overhead and the sun was rising in the East over some wind turbines near Queensberry.

Soon I spotted some tiny figures walking up from Wallaceton and watched their progress over the fields as they made their way up to the mast for the traditional Easter Sunday service. Here you can see the hardy men, women, children and dogs who made it to the top for 8am.

Afterwards we all walked down to the manse at Wallaceton for a welcome hot coffee and some breakfast.

Happy Easter, everyone!
