Old Truman Brewery entrance, Brick Lane

A very interesting day! After a good breakfast we headed off to London. I’ve wanted to see what was in Brick Lane for some time, this was the day! Lots of art work, markets galore, a great place! The graffiti/street art is great! Lots of it!

I loved these old wrought iron gates. Lots of the different parts of the Old Truman brewery are used for the various markets, this one a huge mirror front has something to do with the arts. Can you see me?

Not far from Brick Lane is the old Spitalsfield market which is full of lots eating places. We found a Wagamama and enjoyed a good sit down!

We went back to the London Artisan to get a sort of vase I had seen for Ro’s cousin’s birthday coming up soon! Chatted with the artist too!

Then back to the underground and DLR to West India quay to visit the London Dockland Museum. A fascinating place! So much to read and see! Took lots of photos but no time now to deal with them ! Finally back to Canary Wharf station and back to our hotel! Resting!
