Kelpies

Slow start of the morning and mystery egg hunt. It started with a double whammy - black grapes dressed up as chocolate eggs. We went for our Easter walk to Falkirk. We walked along the Union Canal to the Falkirk Wheel (see extra) a total engineering marvel. Then we followed the Forth and Clyde Canal to the Kelpies. First time we actually managed to see them not from a car. They are very impressive. Then walk back to the train station. All in all we walked probably about 18km. The weather was nice and sunny albeit cold. The mountains were dusted with snow. A great East walk out.
