Wanderings & Witterings

Played 29, won 0, drawn 4, lost 25 was Brechin City's league record this season when they came to play Falkirk on Saturday.

At the end of the game, their record had increased to 26 losses as the Bairns ran out comfortable 3-0 winners. Brechin City's cause was not helped by two first-half sendings-off which meant they played the whole of the second-half with only nine players.

To be fair, their defensive performance in that second-half was determined and disciplined, restricting Falkirk (in the blue) to most of the possession but very few chances.

The photo that is my blip for the day was taken when there were still 22 players on the park. That's when the play actually reached, and occasionally crossed over, the half-way line.
