A much better performance from Chester today compared with Friday and although they were beaten at least they put up a decent fight. Relegation day is scheduled for next Saturday if Chester lose and either Solihull or Barrow win.

The weather is always awful every time we go to Macclesfield and it hammered down in the second half so it was pretty unpleasant standing on the open terrace. The photo was taken early on in the game before the rain started.
