Weavers' Triangle

This is the area known as the Weavers' Triangle - mills and warehouses backing onto the Leeds & Liverpool Canal in Burnley.  Unfortunately the pub on the right 'The Inn on the Wharf' closed suddenly in September last year and has not re-opened.  Shame really, it was a spacious, open-plan pub with impressive stone flagged floors, exposed beamed ceilings and lots of comfy, soft-seated areas to relax and unwind.

It was a very wet day - rather dreary and cold - so I worked a little on the Blip to reflect this.
