All Aboard!

Me, Mrs K and Millie pups intended to do a circular walk from the Lock Keeper Inn at Keynsham via Bitton Station and back past Willsbridge Mill on the Dram Way. Well, the Avon was overflowing in many places making the adjacent path extremely muddy and on the final stretch, about a half mile out, it was impassable and we had to divert to the main road. It was 5 miles in total though felt a lot longer. Wemust come back when it's dry underfoot.

However, we did time it well to see both the diesel and steam trains at Bitton Station, as well as have an ice cream while the shop was still open :)

An extra too of the engineer doing some running maintenance encouraged by his enthusiast colleagues. Nice to see them in period attire.

Back to work tomorrow.
