Brightening Easter

It has been a miserable afternoon, with increasingly heavy sleet and snow showers driven on a strong wind.

In contrast we had a lovely lunch at home with Jeane Freeman and Susan Stewart whilst before and after I managed to catch up on some constituency correspondence.

Tomorrow I am off to Islay for surgeries and a big meeting on Wednesday. But as the Easter weekend comes to an end - an Easter weekend during which we have finally managed to finish the long job of the house alterations which we started over two years ago (...finished by Christmas,....finished by the February recess....finished by Easter...) - a glimpse of one of the beautifully decorated Easter eggs (made into a seasonal flower decoration by Cathleen) which we found in the Easter Market in Vienna last year seemed appropriate.
