Cherry Blossoms

The entire city revolves around cherry blossoms festivities at this time of the year.  This is the newest 'hip' area in Washington DC -- City Center -- which sports (very) high end stores, completely unaffordable condominiums, and aerial exhibits that reflect whatever is in season at the time.  Pink and white for the blossoms, this time around.

I hope the actual blossoms, due to be in full bloom soon, will survive an upcoming spate a bad weather days, including high winds.  Ephemeral things, these blossoms...
