Morning Clouds....

Once again we had a red sky at dawn. The rich colouring had disappeared by the time Maisie and I were starting our walk. However some clouds made for a lovely display as the sun rose in the east. By changing our route just a little we managed to avoid the pesky grass that makes such a mess of dogs’ curly coats. Using my very useful book on New Zealand Common Weeds, I identified the grass. It is called “Bristle Grass”. It looks very pretty... but is to be avoided.
