New Holland Rally

Franz and son Markus came today to reduce our muck heaps. Started snowing (hence the water spots on the photo) but they managed to get the job done in their friendly, calm, & conscientious manner.
Markus has over the last ten years that we have known him, developed in to a self assured, charming & responsible young man - a worthy successor, in due course, to Franz but it's probaly more to Mum Annemarie's credit.He has finished his Agricultural College with flying colours and will no doubt take over from Dad in due course. I think he's still "available" as he only just manages to get home from the clubs in time to do the morning milking!
Franz wants any experts to know that the bucket is not "correct" - it's a Fendt bucket but good enough to use for muck heaps!
Tomorrows Blip will no doubt include snow which is now settling & it's been 1°C since 10:00a.m.
