Pen-y-fan

I was driving over to Brecon and as it was a beautiful clear morning I decided to blip the Brecon Beacons. This is Pen-y-fan, the highest point in the range (and in southern Britain) at 2,907'. We have so much good walking in the Black Mountains closer to home that I rarely walk in the Beacons and have never yet been up Pen-y-fal. Have to remedy that!

Off to chop veg for OB in a little while, preparing to feed the five thousand at the Abergavenny Community Canteen.

(Several hours later) Should you wish, you can see us at it here.
