Alder Catkins

I blipped these Catkins earlier today as I was walking Doug, Duchess and Princess.

Who would have thought flowers with no petals could be so attractive? But they just look so good as they herald spring, and scatter pollen to the four winds.

Yesterday, Jane and I had good news with the arrival of Jane's new chair. However, the bad news is that she has decided that it is not right for her.

So, we bought her another one, that will arrive tomorrow, and in turn I will have the one that arrived yesterday.

It's evening and the pugs are all snoring. They won't be for long as I am taking them out for a evening walk.
