Surfer

The wind, hail and snow have stopped for a while.

After dtr went for an audition, we went for lunch then took a trip to the harbour. The Thurso Yarnstormers had been out again...the harbour railings are festooned with fishy, wavy things...blowing in the wind.

Wave North has camped at the harbout, with a skate ramp, hog roast and cider tents and lots of surfers.

Its wonderful to see the surfers on the main beach as well as Thurso east...I really hope they come again...its not the same since the O'Neill Coldwater Classic left Thurso out of the timetable....they're probably not used to the cold, even if the surf is seriously world class.
