From The National Trust Buggy

Today the weather has been bitterly cold and a tad unpredictable. We've had sleet and freezing winds and a few sunny periods too.

Mr H press-ganged encouraged us all out for a drive to Ickworth House and Gardens, at Horringer. I can tell you that there were not too many folks around.

A volunteer who had a bus type buggy car was at the 'Porters' Lodge and offered us a lift to the walled garden. We climbed on board and just as we did it started raining again.

Here's Archie contemplating the puddles as the buggy zips along. Archie is a lover of the warm and cosy, not so keen on the cold and adventurous walking, even with a coat on.

Following a brisk walk, we had a refreshment at the cafe, a well deserved hot chocolate and cake, and now we are back at home, lovely and cosy and warm.
