Feeling like a very long day already today! Tree surgeon showed up at 7.30 am as our overgrown laurel shrub/tree needed some radical surgery!  Looking very sorry for itself now but hopefully will recover sooner rather than later! So that's one of the gardening to do list jobs ticked off... plenty more to go!

Also popped into the local library for a browse and ended up leaving with these 3 from their book sale for 60p!
