Feeding Time

The Carolina Chickadee pair wasted no time laying and hatching their eggs in one of our Bluebird houses. I don't know how many chicks are in there but it sure sounds to me like there's a bunch! The parents fly in with nourishment and usually land for a moment or two on this conveniently situated BottleBrush branch, pausing just long enough for me to snap a quick shot. Yesterday tiny green caterpillars were on the menu, today I'm not so sure what that's a mouthful of.
