Dire Dinosaurs

We went to the coldest,  most overpriced, mud pit of a dinosaur exhibition today...  Jurrasic Kingdom in Edinburgh 

Admittedly it would have been better if it  was dry and not snowing and also if I hadn't lost sensation in my fingertips,  and if little un didn't get a sore face from the sleet hitting her cheeks ... but even so it was still a bit past its best and it wasn't just the weather that made it a bit bleak... 

However the scale was suitably impressive,  and little un enjoyed deciding who were the baddies ( big teeth and meat eaters),  and who were the goodies (plant eaters)   she also liked making them roar...   The other positive was that there was no queuing at all... as only the people crazy enough to fall for the marketing and pre book with a non refundable fee, were willing to venture out today...

But I'm easily pleased and the fact the little un enjoyed it made it worth while ...
