Not all grey

A much lazier day today without the encouragement of blue skies. The surfers did head out before breakfast but they were back without having had a five star experience.

Our lovely breakfast was followed by a trip out to Solva. It wasn't looking its best in the grey but we had a wander and made a couple of purchases. Back via a successful crab hunt for tea although ours came ready dressed as opposed to those that were being caught off the end of Solva harbour. The makings of lunch were purchased once we were back in St Davids and then we settled down with books and the log burner for a while. A decision as to whether to succumb and have a lie-down was overturned by a decision to get some fresh air. If the former had been taken, I'd have missed out on Caerfai Bay, its crashing waves and purple rocks which all served to blow the cobwebs away before our crab was put to very good use, photos were downloaded and faffed with to try and lift the grey and Bailey was cuddled - and obliged, for once.
