Corndon viewpoint

Another long looked at hill top ticked off the list today.

Corndon Hill sits surveying huge chunks of Shropshire, Montgomeryshire and beyond and is always recognisable because of its regular shape. At 513m it is only slightly shorter than its illustrious Stiperstones neighbour. The climb is a killer due to its non stop 45 degree angle but when you do reach the top, wow. Snowdon, Cadair Idris and the iconic Clee hills were all clearly visible today.

I do rather like this combination of trig pillar, cairn and of course the wonderful seat.

Hopefully will make it through the next 24 hours as this is Blip no 666!
