Spring is in the Air!

Went out for a leisurely walk mid morning, doing the 'Long Adam' and what a lovely walk it was. Even though the wind was still a bit chilly the sun was warm and the birds were singing. I heard plenty of buzzing bees and even saw two peacock butterflies fluttering around together.

Best of of all was this gorgeous beauty high up in a tree, with another one even higher. I also saw my first ducklings, twelve in all, with their Mum.

I've added extras today a dozing male mallard with a purple rinse three ducklings, bumblebee's bum and some blackthorn blossom.
