This is Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, a huge part of my childhood & youth. I had to take these cherry trees beside it, the poor things are trying to come in to bloom & getting battered by the cold rain.
The Charles Rennie Macintosh exhibition is terrific, we were very glad we went early. It was busy on opening, by the time we left, after one o’clock it was heaving to the point of being uncomfortable. It’s on until August so I will go again. We did a bit of successful shopping later, ate pizza in the evening at the Shilling Brewery Co., first class as always though I’ve never seen it so quiet.
