Caernarfon Day 2

The castle today. It’s been on a to do list for ages and didn’t disappoint. We walked parapets, climbed towers and walked all the exhibitions. The photo is of the spot where Prince Charles was invested as Prince of Wales in 1969. We also saw a clip of film when Edward V111 was invested in 1911.

After the castle we walked the town and decided to make towards Snowdon as I had read about a small railway that goes up the mountain. As it happens we were too late as it is a 2 hour round trip and we already had a dinner date booked with friends. So, we took the lake train instead and booked tickets for Snowdon for tomorrow morning. I do hope the weather holds.

This evening we met up with Brenda and Nick who moved to Anglesey just a month ago having lived in Hartlip for over 20:years, this is a complete life change for them and I do hope it works out well for them. it seems strange to think that we will have to make proper arrangements with lots of planning in order to meet up from now on.

One extra today of Snowdon, taken from the Lake train.
