Warkworth Beach

I have to admit straight away that this is not one of my photos.  Mr YB went golfing for the first time this year yesterday and it is of his.  He was playing golf at Warkworth which is on the Northumberland Coast - a really beautiful area.  As you can see there are still World War II anti-tank blocks on the beach.

The island off the coast is Coquet Island which is owned by The Duke of Northumberland.  It is managed by the The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.  The most numerous species on the island is the puffin.

Mr YB thoroughly enjoyed his days golfing and his hoping for many more games over the coming months.
