Des Res

This derelict house is on the island of South Uist. I have seen it on my visits over the past 10 years plus. I do not know the history nor why many such houses exist in a state of total neglect.

A grey day with heavy rain, you know the drill, jump out of the car, choose a position where the rain is on your back and the camera shielded (somewhat), take the photo, cover the camera and jump back into the driving seat.

Black and white seemed to suit the scene.
