Whittington Castle

My neighbour asked me to take a photo of the village castle and church. He organises a series of concerts in the church and I think that it's for that. I went today and took a few from different positions for him to choose from. This is one of them - I preferred it as a photo as it includes the daffodils.

This afternoon I went for a walk around Colemere where I heard the first chiffchaff of the year. I then went to Wood Lane Nature Reserve but there was very little wildlife around although I did see my first cowslip of the year.
