Shugborough Hall

After a busy day seeing the Physio and doing bits and pieces before our trip to Spain on Sunday, I had an hour out earlier this evening with my camera.
This is our local Stately Home, Shugborough which was recently taken over completely by the National Trust. Previously it was managed by Staffordshire County Council. One of the first things they did was to stop a local football team from using one of the fields they have been using for a long time. Then they started charging visitors who just wanted to walk around the Estate but not go in the Hall, which upset a lot of walkers as the paths through the Estate used to form part of some longer distance trails.
In mitigation, the property does need a lot of money spending on it,
