Looking up

The last day of our holiday and we didn't travel far. A wet start to the day deterred most activity, except for the bestest friend's trip - at speed and without added ballast - around a part of the coastal path. Lunch at base before we headed into St Davids in the dry to purchase things to bring home. We also visited the cathedral with its beautiful, wooden ceilings. Not all are as brightly painted as this section but they are impressive nonetheless and apparently wooden instead of stone due to poor foundations and earthquake activity.

A final trip to Whitesands once we returned and an outing of the long lens to capture the surfer. The waves were impressive and the sun did reappear. Bailey was allowed off his lead before we left but didn't make the most of his freedom, choosing to make friends with three other dogs and their owners instead.

A bit of packing and sorting once we were back and before we headed out for our final tea at the pub. Bailey made himself comfortable under my chair and had to be carried all the way home by the former OBS before we all settled for a final evening in front of the fire.
