Huge Contrast

Sometimes it's a pity we can't show more pictures because I also wanted to show the contrast of the camp and the downtown skyscrapers just 1000 feet away. These words I wrote with my previous entry, and as the sun also decided to shine I went back and shot the image I intended to capture.

The party tents of these asylum seekers on the Koekamp in The Hague may night be covered with a transparent plastic. This should provide protection against rain and cold. It sounds crazy but an administrative judge had to determine if permission could and would be given for this plastic coverage.
