Symphony

I could hear them way before we saw them—a syncopated undertone beneath the noises of cars and bikes and ocean and people. We used our ears to find an overgrown path that led behind a concrete building to a funny little man-made pond, full from the overnight rain and frantic with sound. The frogs are smaller than my thumb, and hard to spot in the murk, but there’s one, and, look—another! See their vocal sacs pulsing! Some frogs can be heard up to a mile away, but we are standing right here with our toes at the edge of the water and are immersed in their singing. It's like the first time you heard sandhill cranes, the world is only sound and you're right in the middle of it, barely daring to breathe.

I tried to upload a movie so you could hear their stunning voices, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. Does anybody know? I have an .mp4 and a .mov file and nothing happens when I choose either one.
