Creating: Still Life

Still life images have always fascinated me. The ones I really like best are those that look as if they are just part of everyday life without too much of a perfected arrangement. My still-life image is (almost) one of those!  I often crochet and put my work in progress down to go and make myself a mug of peppermint or lemon verbena tea!  This is one of those moments, though I did add the single tulip from a bunch in a vase as it seemed to balance out the other elements!  It was also the right colour!
