Light filtering

I wasn't fast enough to get a picture of the two hoopoes we saw on the road but I was thrilled to see them before the car startled them away.

But I was fast enough, because they move very slowly and I stared at them for ages, to record the slug-trails that have appeared on the sea (extra). I assume that these are to do with different water temperatures.

Highlights of a mostly sunny day: an informal English/Greek lesson with the accountant's husband while he was minding the baby, and sharing a birthday meal with a couple I've met here on previous visits.
