Porirua markets

We went down to the Saturday morning market at Porirua. It is worlds away from the sophisticated Wellington City market @ Chaffers, but much more interesting. The stall holders are the usual Otaki fruit and vege sellers, and then the local new immigrant and Maori and Pacific Island communities, selling aisan herbs, roti, rewena bread, chop suey, mussell fritters, bacon and egg burgers and other "local" delicacies.

These women are selling herbs and asian vegetables, and are market regulars.
