Opening up

This month's theme for the AYWMC graduates group is triptychs, and it's amazing how many kinds of trios of images are possible, you can tell a story in three images, show progress, the possibilities are endless. As I've been willing the magnolia tree to open up its flowers for days/weeks now, it's been a joy to see the rather bare tree transform into a huge shape of pink. And as the flowers started to open up yesterday, but had closed a bit again this morning I knew what I was going to do as a Blip today.

These three images were taken today , the left one at 10 am, the middle one at 15:00 h and the right one at 19:45 h. As you can see or imagine it's been a very nice day after a cold start. Don't worry, I'm not going to set a triptych theme for Abstract Thursday too, I think that might be pushing it. What this image refers to (a bit) is repetition, and that's the optional theme for this coming Thursday, when the tag will be AT146

Thanks so much for another excellent collection of entries for last Thursday's challenge without a theme. I had the usual trouble picking just 5, but here's the list of 5 special entries:
craftylady       for a great geometrical pattern from a tree
Howu              for an intriguing red shape
Mole                for a wonderful pattern with lovely colours
SandraSuisse  for seeds making a great abstract
Talpa              for a great find of weathering paint and other textures

Thanks again for all your creativity, looking forward to this coming Thursday's images on 'repetition' . Just remember to have fun taking/making them !

And thanks so much for your kind comments, stars and faves for my Blips these past few days, very much appreciated !
