Hover Fly?

I'm fairly certain that this beautiful insect is not a blowfly. My guess is that it's the New Zealand native metallic blue hover fly, Heliophilus hochstetteri. It has a pointy rear and an orange scutellum (between the thorax and the abdomen). The antennae are orange too. There are subtle stripes on the thorax. The only one I can find for identification purposes was well and truly dead when it was photographed, which makes it difficult to compare. I will go on researching it.
