The fairy party

A whole day of fair food, a whole day of laughter with friends, a whole day of fun in the warm sunshine. Today we headed out to Bailee's school fair, Bailee was signing at 10.00 so we were out nice and early and at the fair as it started. The youngsters of the school sang 3 songs, two in italian they were amazing the kids ranged from 3-6years old and what a brilliant job they did. Proud parents videoed and clicked away on their cameras.

There was lots to see, and lots of friends to chat to, the community here is also strong something that I look for in schools for my children most people knew each other and who's kids belong to who, they were happy to roam around the school grounds indepentanly. We collected a few of Bailee's friends and Maiddie's friends and roamed around together, the police car and fire truck were one of their favourites, miss maddie was hesitant at first to get in the police car, (they catch bad guys you know) but her younger sisters jumped right in and she soon followed, the kind police man turned the siren on and the lights and they all thought it was pretty darn great.

The fire truck was equally awesome, with the fireman letting the girls take turns holding the hose and turning the water on, their little faces lit up at the weight and pressure of the water.

Next it was milking the cow, surprise surprise maddie passed on this, Lara loved it and got in their and gave the poor cow a good old squeeze. Bailee enjoyed churning the milk into cream and then into butter, it was amazing for them to see the process it went through, and then to have a sample of it on a biscuit.

Rides and lots and lots of food, cakes and sausages and eventually snow cones.... something so simple coloured ice and they thought it was brilliant. It was nee on a hot day.

Home for a plate of veggies for dinner bath and an early bed.
