Amazing Oriental

This Oriental-style structure sits dock-side in Parkhaven Quay.  Only a century ago, the Chinese first settled in the Netherlands and brought with them a big demand for oriental products and their rich food culture.  Asian supermarkets have been big business here since the 1980's, including this one called 'Amazing Oriental' aka 'The Chinese Boat' -  and I must admit, it's seen better days looks-wise (haven't we all?) but it's still a bonny looking building - hard to believe it's actually a floating supermarket.  Apparently you can feel it bobbing up and down whilst you're doing your shopping.  I'll have to pay it a visit to see for myself.
