A bad ? day in the garden!

The broken fork speaks of my strength, or its weakness!  I did manage to pull up a huge fern and a bush (with a lot of help from Ro!) to clear a space for new plantings while the sun shone. I abandoned the digging when it was obvious my muscles would regret the effort!  I'm hoping that tomorrow I can continue to even off the soil and plant the blackberry and raspberry that are patiently waiting by the front door!
