I sent my son his computer by courier. BIG mistake.
A smashed mac is not a pretty sight. Those nice curvey 'legs' at the bottom were completley smashed into the underside of the machine. The big whizzy monitor had its sides all bent. It looks like a train ran over it. It was packed brilliantly well too.
Anyway Matt plugged it in, pressed the button and waited for the grinding noises and black smoke. To his delight and amazement it works - perfectly well. It needs a bit of gaffa tape, some new keys for the keyboard and something under it so it isn't too wonky but it works. I think Apple could use that computer in its advertising.
I am off to Edinburgh again tomorrow - Anybody fancy a drink in "The Baillie" tomorrow evening.
