Benicassim

Sun and cloud with a cold wind.

A trip into Benicassim today.   Firstly after parking up, had a stroll through the town.   The main picture is St Thomas of Villanueva's Church.   Construction began in 1769 and it was completed in 1776.   An important part in Benicassim's history as when dedicated, it dictated the location of the Town.

Then we headed down to the promenade and in extras is St Vincent's Tower built in the 16th Century - one of 18 such look-out posts that guarded the coast of the entire Castellon province from raids by pirates.

Back up to the town for a spot of lunch and relax then home for siesta - well the boys had a siesta!
