Blackthorn blossom

This spells the start of spring to me.. when the hedgerows go white with the blossom from the blackthorn (sloe) bushes.  Having said that, today was far from springlike with a heavy overcast day which started and ended with rain.  
Flossie rolled and changed from white to black fox shit brown.  She was very pleased with herself.  
Tired today after yesterdays treatment.. it's made me feel a bit grumpy .. oh dear :(
