How do you create stories about your garden that will give visitors a memorable experience?

led a lively session with garden owners at the annual conference and agm of Scotlands Garden Scheme, at Kirknewton House Stables near Edinburgh.
 
                                                                                             
We all came way with lots of ideas- put simply don’t give folk a list of plants -that is boring. Far better to tell them something interesting about one particular plant, tree or garden artefact.
 
   
And remember it’s less about facts and more about emotion and communication.
