Chester FC 3 Bromley 2

A rare victory for Chester in front of the lowest home league attendance since the club reformed in 2010. Even more surprising is that not only did we score in first half injury time but also in the 90th minute which is normally when we contrive to concede goals.

The winner was a magnificent solo effort from substitute Nathan Brown who ran half the length of the pitch to score. Easily the goal of the season. Nathan is a product of the youth team and is only about 5ft 4ins and looks like the mascot but he is a very skilful player and his winner really put a smile on everyones faces. It was worth waiting for.

The photo shows Nathan coming off the pitch to be congratulated by youth team manager Calum McIntyre.
