Apparently this window is known as a feature = costly. I had eventually got a company that would make a double glazed replacement after years. They phoned yesterday to say it was ready. Luckily once they had erected the scaffolding to access the outside it was replaced in an hour, over my extended lunch break. Bubbles stayed in day care all day as she doesn't like strangers & would have spent the hour barking. Mind you she barked when she came home & discovered there had been strangers in her house, one of her quirks.
