Spring is happening

I found this eggshell by the gate today, below our neighbour’s huge fir tree. I think it must be a pigeon’s egg, judging by the size.
We always seem to have two pigeons in the garden - perhaps we’ll soon have more!
I’ve never seen a baby pigeon though - what do they look like?
