End of the line

We'd hoped to go to a "Raptor Experience" today (my birthday present to Mrs W.) but when we rang to check it was still OK they said it was too windy. As they'd warned about the danger of this we had a back-up plan to enjoy the lovely sunny day: a train ride along the Cambrian Coast from Barmouth to Pwllheli, where we had an enjoyable lunch and look round the shops.

This picture is of the train we arrived on, just after everyone had left.

It is a fantastic run, often right by the sea, and with majestic mountains in sight the other side throughout. I recommend the trip, especially in lovely sunshine.
