Hard Knott

U3A Ramblers Plus walk to Hard Knott Roman fort and then up The Esk valley before turning to climb Hard Knott. A truly wonderful walk with amazing views. My first time in the Esk valley and I wasn't disappointed ... sumptious views of Scafell, Scafell Pike, Bow Fell and the Crinkles to name but a few. Lots of cascades, waterfalls and deep crystal clear pools. A couple of extras of the roman fort and a waterfall
