People Like Us

On a very wet morning we went to Technoquest, a science museum at Mermaid Quay in Cardiff. It was pouring when we arrived just before the museum was due to open, and the staff kindly unlocked the outer door so we could wait in the lobby out of the rain. The grandchildren had a great time there, and by the time we left in the early afternoon, people were queueing because the museum was full.

This statue is nearby, and commemorates the people who used to live and work here when it was Tiger Bay.
