A lot of valves

I went to the pumping station, hoping for a good site at the "Oleg Strashnov", which is in port again but her beam was down and I could not see her clearly because of a lot of light coming from everywhere.
So this emergency Blip, showing the thermoshockvalves at the right and the trashrake cleaners on the left.
Every unit has two trashrake cleaners in the coolingwaterinlet and four thermoshockvalves to lead "hot" water from the outlet back to the inlet, thus killing oysters and mussels.

It's a salty, agressive environment, so you can see some oxidation on railings and handwheels. The handwheels are there to use when the electric drive does not work properly which does not happen so often.
